We’re excited to be supporting Stockdales again this year by sponsoring their Charity Golf Day, taking place on Thursday 10th July 2025 at Northenden Golf Club. It’s always a great event, and more importantly, it helps raise vital funds for a charity that does genuinely brilliant work.
About Stockdales
Stockdales is a local charity based in South Manchester. Since 1953, they’ve been supporting children, young people and adults with learning disabilities, as well as their families and carers.
Their services range from residential care and community support to evening clubs and one-to-one activities. They also run ‘Dream Days’, a project that helps people experience things they’ve always wanted to do, whether that’s going to a football match, trying something new, or simply getting out and about.
Everything they do is about helping people live with more independence, dignity, and joy. And that’s something we’re proud to get behind.
What the Golf Day involves
The Charity Golf Day is one of Stockdales’ main fundraising events. It’s a relaxed and enjoyable day out, with a bit of friendly competition thrown in.
The day starts at 11.30am with registration, followed by sandwiches and a shotgun start at 1.15pm. Once everyone’s made their way around the course, there’ll be a meal, raffle, auction and prize-giving.
Teams of four can enter for £375, which includes lunch, a goodie bag, 18 holes of golf, on-course competitions, dinner and prizes. Evening-only tickets are also available for £30 per person if you’d like to support the cause without playing.
All funds raised go directly towards Stockdales’ work.

Stockdales is a charity that really makes a difference through the care, time and effort they put into helping people live well. That’s why we’re proud to be joint main sponsors this year. We’re also putting forward four teams from ELAN to take part on the day.
